Gyan-Setu
“Gyan-Setu” is
a group of volunteers committed to donate time for the enrichment
of the interior regions of problem affected states in India. This
yearlong activity is organized by Educational Activity Research Center
(EARC) – Jnana Prabodhini – Pune. The program consists of visits to the
problem affected states by batches of volunteers aiming at conducting
science-based workshops and camps for school children. Currently the
visits are focused in 4 states of India viz Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Jammu & Kashmir and Chhattisgarh
considering the apt weather conditions. This initiative aims at helping
the the local residents of these remote areas to build communication
bridges (“Setu”) to commence a healthy dialogue to exchange knowledge
(“Gyan”).
“Gyan-Setu” invites you to participate in this yearlong activity for “connecting people through knowledge exchange.”
